FungiTecture ("we", "our", "us", "its") values its relationship with you and other users of its web site (the "Web Site") and offerings (the "Offerings") available on or through the Web-Site. Recognising that you may be concerned about our content and operations, we provide this document to inform you of our position in certain matters.

If you have any queries or concerns regarding this document, please contact us.

Privacy Policy

FungiTecture recognises that you may be concerned about our collection, use, and disclosure of information gathered from or about you that we may acquire through your use of the Web Site or the Offerings. Accordingly, we have implemented this Privacy Policy to inform you of the information we may collect, how we may collect that information and what we may do with that information.

What Information does FungiTecture collect from Me?
We may collect both Personal and Non-Personal Information from you. Personal Information is that which can be used to personally identify you, such as your name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card or banking details, amongst other information. Non-Personal Information is that which cannot easily be used to personally identify you, such as your Internet Service Provider (ISP), your Internet Protocol (IP) Address, your Operating System (OS) and browser type, the URL of the previous web page you visited, your click patterns, and the dates and times you accessed the Web Site and the Offerings.

How and When does FungiTecture Collect My Information?
We collect Personal Information from you when you give it to us. For example, in ordering goods or services through our Shop, we will collect your name, address, telephone number, email address, and possibly your credit card or banking details. If you sign up to receive our newsletter, we will collect your name and email address. If you communicate with us through the Web Site or the Offerings, we will collect any information that you provide in such communication. Like the operators of most web sites, we use analytic and reporting technologies to gather Non-Personal Information.

How does FungiTecture Use My Information?
Personal Information may be used to fulfil requests for information, to produce and despatch orders, and to provide customer support.
Non-Personal Information is generally used to monitor, maintain, evaluate and improve the Web Site and the Offerings.

Will FungiTecture Disclose My Information to Third Parties?
We will not intentionally disclose your information to third parties without your consent. However, we reserve the right to disclose some or all of your information in certain circumstances, as may be necessary for the operation or development of our business, or to protect or enforce our rights or those of a third party. These instances are discussed below:

Disclosure to Successors.
We may disclose your Personal Information to a successor-in-interest of ours, such as a company that acquires us.

Disclosure to Unaffiliated Third Parties.
We may disclose your Personal Information in an emergency, to protect or enforce our rights or those of a third party, or as may be required by an officer of the law (including, without limitation, compliance with a court order).

Disclosure to Third-Party Service Providers.
We engage various third parties that help us provide and maintain the Web Site and the Offerings. For example, we may use third-parties to produce and despatch orders, and to process payments. We use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent these third parties from disclosing your Personal Information, except for the purpose of providing a particular service. However, we cannot guarantee that these third parties will not disclose your Personal Information.

Disclosure of Non-Personal Information.
We may disclose your Non-Personal Information, usually in aggregate form, to current or potential strategic partners, advertisers, investors, and others. As this information cannot be easily used to identify you personally, you may not "opt out" from our sharing of this information.

Does FungiTecture Protect My Personal Information?
Whenever we obtain your Personal Information, we use commercially reasonable efforts to protect it from unauthorised access or disclosure. However, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personal Information. Accordingly, we assume no liability for any disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorised access or other acts by third parties, or any acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control. Any content that you store, post, or transmit on or through the Web Site, such as message board postings, may be accessed by other users, including people that you do not know. As we cannot control the actions of others, you should exercise care in communicating with other users and only disclose your Personal Information to other users that you know to be trustworthy. You should not assume that others will treat your content or information as private or confidential.

How do I Agree to the Privacy Policy?
This Privacy Policy forms part of our Terms of Use ("TOU"). When you use the Web Site or any of the Offerings, you agree that we can collect, use and disclose your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to or cannot accept any part of this Privacy Policy, you may not use the Web Site or the Offerings.

Will FungiTecture make changes to its Privacy Policy?
We may make changes to our Privacy Policy from time to time. We may notify you of any changes by sending you an email (if your email address is registered with us), by posting a notice on the Web Site, or by informing you through the use of cookies that we have made changes. If you receive notification of a change in our Privacy Policy, you must carefully review the new Policy to make sure that you understand our practices and procedures. You must configure your browser to accept cookies from us in order to receive notification of changes to our Privacy Policy.

What are Cookies?
A cookie is a small file sent to your computer from a web server and stored on your computer hard drive. As with most web sites, we use cookies to track your use of the Web Site and the Offerings, to provide you with a more personalised user experience, and to allow you to sign in and use the Offerings automatically when you visit the Web Site. We may also use cookies to ensure that you have been notified of and agreed to the current version of the Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and any other agreements and policies relating to your use of the Web Site and the Offerings.

How can I Review and Make Changes to My Personal Information?
If you wish to obtain a copy of, or correct any errors in, or have us delete your Personal Information, please contact us. For your protection, you may be required to provide proof of your identity in order to obtain a copy of your Personal Information. However, if you choose to delete your Personal Information, you may not be able to access certain areas of the Web Site or the Offerings. Account holders may update their account details by logging-in to the Web Site.

Does this Privacy Policy Apply When I Access Third Party Web Sites?
You may be able to access third-party web sites directly from the Web Site. As we cannot control how third parties may use any Personal Information you give or disclose to them, you should carefully review the privacy policy of all third-party web sites you visit before giving or disclosing any Personal Information to them. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third-party web site.

What about Children's Privacy?
The Web Site and the Offerings are intended for users aged thirteen years or older. We will not knowingly collect or use any Personal Information from any child that we know is under the age of thirteen. We will delete information from our database that we know originates from a child under the age of thirteen.

Prospective users aged less than eighteen years may only use the Web Site and the Offerings under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. If you are less than eighteen years of age, you, your parent or legal guardian may request that we delete some or all of your Personal Information in our database and/or "opt out" from receiving communications from us. Can I "Opt Out" from Receiving further Communications from FungiTecture?

If you have any queries or concerns regarding our Privacy Policy, please contact us.

Drugs Policy

FungiTecture recognises that you may be concerned about our referencing certain prohibited or prescribed fungi, as with the entheogens, or those regulated products made from or with fungi, such as alcoholic wines and beers.

As FungiTecture views the entheogenic fungi as the basis of God(s), FungiTecture considers those nations or states with laws prohibiting the possession or consumption of entheogenic fungi as having legislated against the worship of God(s). However, as many of the same nations or states also actively engage in the sponsoring or staging of events and/or the display or maintenance of material derived from or associated with the use of entheogenic fungi, FungiTecture can only regard those nations or states as ambivalent towards the use of entheogenic fungi.

However, FungiTecture does not condone the irresponsible use of any entheogen or any intoxicant derived from fungi, and does not condone any detrimental behaviour arising from or attributed to the use of same. Fungi have insidious ways of punishing those that misuse or abuse them, and one day you may meat the fungi. So don't be a fungin idiot.

Nevertheless, FungiTecture has no intention of selling or supplying any entheogenic fungus, nor any equipment or materials specifically designed to grow, harvest, store or manipulate same. FungiTecture will treat all funds sent to us on the expectation that we will supply any of the above material as a non-refundable gift and all requests for same shall pass unfulfilled by us. However, notwithstanding the ubiquity of fungus spores, some of our products may comprise elements made from or with the help of fungi.

FungiTecture limits its role to providing a much-needed educational resource in revealing the inspired side of fungi.

If you have any queries or concerns regarding our Drugs Policy, please contact us.
